Good post. I can't understand why people are defending the practice either. He knew it was not an acceptable practice or it wouldn't have been conducted behind closed doors, as part of the underground culture.

He knew it was unacceptable when he lied about it to Goodell and Blank. At that point, you would think he would protect his ass(ets) and done the right thing.

There's a such thing as being criminally stupid. He's guilty of that as well.

Keep up the work with the younth and go Oregon in the LLWS.

Thank you, it really is amazing the lengths that people will go to to justify abusive behavior...and to minimize the extent of damage caused by the actions of men like Mike Vick.

As an animal advocate, I'm thankful that this has shown that we Americans are tired of the rampant animal abuse, and we want our laws enforced and our companions treated with respect.

pirate-i saw part of that show too, but it almost makes me want to puke when i think about dog fighting. would any woman feel safe dating a guy like this, or having kids with him? in my opinion, there wouldn't be much difference in this or forcing a bunch of little 5 yr old kids to fight to the death...
