Gravatar The nipple of Barack’s Soul Exposed

Elaine on Seinfeld said it best, could have been about Barack Obama….

ELAINE: I did not bare myself deliberately, but I tell you, I wish now that I had! Because it is not me that has been exposed, but you! For I have seen the nipple on your soul!

Obama has shown us a glimpse of his soul as he dumps his church…it ain’t very pretty. What a troubled lost man who wants to play president. Barak, go home, find yourself, before it is too late for you to “be a man, and take a stand.”

If you saw Barak Obama give the press conference today where he ditched his church membership, then you saw a very weak man indeed. I don’t agree with his church’s rhetoric but I did expect him to have faith in God’s house of worship and to not be influenced by the media. Senator Obama just does not have the core beliefs and soul to lead our nation.

He said that he refers to scripture every day. How can Senator Obama refer to the bible everyday and live with his own approval of abortion, the murder of God’s unborn children.

Had not Barack Obama read Psalm 23:4 since he said that he referred to the scriptures every day.

Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Barack was on the ropes, hit with criticism. So what, every man is at least once in his life. Barack have not you read:

Matthew 16:8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?

Didn’t Obama know that God would provide for him in times of trouble? I just don’t believe this poor lost soul of a man one bit.

Gravatar So VA what dress are you wearing to the prom? I heard Christy was going to wear a strapless Vera Wang! I wish I were her! She's so cool!

That's the only sentiment going through my mind right now after reading that German liberal b.s. It's like all this is just a fad. Wow an Obama presidency would be SOO COOL everyone! Lalalalalalalalala.....

Yeah that Indian chick I know said the same thing about Obama...That he is representative of the "new" America. And she said it so condescendingly like "oh poor white you...ur time is over." These people are like a bunch of vampires tasting blood.

Ugh....Time to move!!!

Gravatar He says it would force Germans "to ask ourselves questions we have never asked before....We Germans pride ourselves on our social tolerance and progressive thinking, but come election time we take it for granted that all major candidates will be white-skinned.''

VA, do you see any kind of historical precedent for this kind of sentiment? Is this something new and unique? An expression of some sort of civilizational death wish?

Gravatar Wally - thanks for the comments.
I agree that Obama is troubled or certainly confused. I am not sure what Bible he is reading; it must be the liberals' expurgated Bible with cherry-picked passages.

cabbageroll - I think you pinpoint something about the Obamaites or liberals in general: the adolescent, shallow tone that typifies their way of thinking and what they value.

Californian - I really don't see any historical precedent for this kind of thing, People liken our situation to the last days of the Roman Empire but I don't think the Romans so eagerly sought out their demise - did they? Or were they merely so jaded and decadent that they didn't care? Today the liberals at least seem to want to offer themselves up as sacrifices, and take us with them. This is why I say our society seems to have become deranged.

Gravatar There's plenty of glib media commentary on the responsibilities of the 'global presidency'. But while journalists cater to the insatiable public appetite for news of presidential follies (and reluctant admissions of accomplishments), almost nothing is heard from the academics who might be expected to provide some scholarly analysis of "decisions that benefit or afflict millions of people, rich and poor, in dozens of countries on every continent. Yet they have no vote".

Gravatar Alex,

You and I must be on the exact same page; the part of VA's entry (of Jenkins's piece) that you cite is the part that immediately got my attention. Jenkins's next paragraph lays it on even thicker:

"Iraqis, Afghans, Palestinians, Israelis, Pakistanis, Colombians, Brazilians, Russians, Chinese have no means of saying yes or no to decisions taken in Washington that may intimately affect their families, their security, their jobs and prospects. Nobody accounts to them or invites them to any caucus. Few of them enjoy democratic privileges even in their own countries. Yet the next president of the United States can mean life or death."

VA summed it up nicely when she wrote: "There should not be a 'global presidency'." In other words, there should be no globalism period! At least none that the United States is party to.

Gravatar People liken our situation to the last days of the Roman Empire but I don't think the Romans so eagerly sought out their demise - did they? Or were they merely so jaded and decadent that they didn't care?

If I were to do a blog on this, I'd call it "After Adrianople 378 AD, Before 476 AD", the former date referring, of course, to the battle in 378 in which the barbarians finally broke through the Roman frontiers and began settling permanently within the Empire. Even though the Romans would eventually accomplish some great things afterwards (see Aetius), the end would come 98 years later, at least in the West.

I see us at some point between the collapse of the frontiers and the final collapse of the interior. Perhaps Bush is our Theodosius, conducting a great if pointless war which does nothing to deal with the hostile hosts among us, and after him will be the next deluge.

I used to wonder how the Romans could let things get so far as to accept the state of affairs which eventually brought their demise. But you can see it today with the failure of the will among the ruling elites in the West, and with the general apathy of the populace.

Now I can begin to understand the Fall of Rome. But at least the Roman leadership of the time realized something was wrong, and made some attempt to deal with it. But it is a fact that today, the leadership of the West (political, corporate, academic, media) is actively promoting the forces which are rendering our frontiers immaterial and, more critically, trashing our cultural/national uniqueness.

Today, the liberals at least seem to want to offer themselves up as sacrifices, and take us with them.

As I am writing this, the local classical radio station is playing the British hymn, "Jerusalem" (practically a national anthem). As is to be expected, "Jerusalem" has been banned in parts of England for being "too nationalistic." Who knows, if people start listening to music such as this, the next thing they may do is start flying the flag of St. George, also, I am given to understand, not allowed for fear of offending the new Goths and Vandals.

This is why I say our society seems to have become deranged.

"Liberalism is the ideology of Western suicide." -- James Burnham.

Gravatar Anyone in the West with latent non-Western identity has an open door to change their identity to the non-Western one. In fact, they are pushed to do so.

Those with any Western identity are pushed in the opposite direction. So the Indian friend mentioned above is representative of a powerful force that is growing stronger. This doesn't lead to any coming together.

More and more it seems like an open race war is under way. The establishment leaders act as if the opposite is true, that 99.99 percent of people are completely melded and only a few outliers feel otherwise. According to them, for non-whites its only those caught in knife fights with whites, except the whites really started it by being there and being white.

To our leaders, every white with any identity with whites is a loser. (Which obviously means those leaders have no such identity, not being losers.) In fact, identifying whites are the greatest losers in the history of life on earth according to our leaders. And that is self-fulfilling prophecy if we don't change it.

Gravatar Are our leaders (so-called) indifferent to the conflicts they are fomenting, or is there a method to the madness?

OA, it does seem as though there are opposite trends which are building to a crisis point.

Good comments, all.
