LH played in lil' ol dc space way back - they were friends with Ian MacKaye and I think were opening for Fugazi (or was it Embrace?) and later toured with him. They kicked butt and eardrums - took several days to stop saying "what?" to everyone talking to me at work. I have their tape - the one with the trumpet piece - I think it was called Gabrielle - I remember finding it hard to get out of my head while I was "floating" (more like several days of hanging on to my innards) on a Navy Cruiser down in the Carib right after Hurricane Gabrielle...
