Something's Gone Wrong Again

I saw this movie when it came out (which tells you how old I must be!) and it changed my life. My first exposure to punk rock music. I have a badly worn VHS copy and would kill for a dvd release. Nice job mentioning this. X, Black Flack and Circle Jerks are brilliant in this movie.

Nice post. I really can't see the point of lumping all three Declines together in one package - what we *badly* need is an expanded version of the first one with interview out-takes, more live footage etc

Classic movie that defined SoCal hardcore for the few years that is was something special. I remember listening to the first Slayer e.p. on a boombox while waiting in line, so I guess I saw it in 1984 or so. I've never even seen the third one but only want to for the 'watching a car crash' aspect.

Although not as pure as 'Decline', anytime it's mentioned I think of the film 'Suburbia'. It was the next film directed by Penelope Spheeris. That one IS available on DVD...and is a must own. Great songs in this one as well...and an amazing soundtrack. How about some MP3s of that one?

3rd Decline is about "crusty punks" and features interviews with Rick Wilder of the Mau Maus!
