I think the interesting thing to note here with these results is, Nagin did not win a majority. The anti-Nagin vote was split and now that there are just two candidates left, they will most likely combine their support to elect Landrieu.
That is, unless Nagin fires those buses up to load up the displaced blacks that blame Bush for all of this and bring them back to vote.
It's even more appalling that his weird 'displaced voter' process has been set up. Just too much potential for voting fraud in my humble opinion.
People generally get the government they deserve.
