Tough call. I never "loan" money to family I just give it.
Early in our relationship DH "loaned" his brother money. In his family they loan money.
Anyway he didn't pay it back (go figure???) and my DH was boiling mad. I said let it go and realize it was never a "Loan". Sigh...there's more to the story, bu with family there is never a loan.
At the time, I didn't have the money to just "give" so I didn't. I also was resentful of her entering my life only to make a sale for her new "business." If she cared so little for me, I wasn't about to put myself further in the financial hole for her.
