When picking a president, I go by my morals and my own opinions of what should happen to the country with the adoption of a new president. I think that a president should have experience, A lot, of experience in leadership. He should also be interested in the people and his country, not himself and other countries. He should think about what is best for his country without utilitarianism. He should also be extremely responsible for his actions.
Issues that are important to me: Minding the country's own business, Education, health care, the people, and the environment. These issues are important to me because they all deal with the people and the country. They are all for the good of the country.Work ing on these issues would satisfy a lot of people's problems.

Gravatar Things I look for in a President is responsibility, honesty, intergity, etc. But these qualities are hard to find. The issues that are important to me are healthcare and immigration. Healthcare because I appreciate the healthcare we already have, but some candidates feel that they need to switch over to Universal Healthcare. Not a good idea. Immigration is also an important issue because I do not agree with people coming to the United States and stealing our jobs.

Gravatar personly in a presedent i would want someone you wants the job to help the country rather then for the power. Also someone you has good morals. who's intelligent, good natured and likeable. And the most inportant thing for them to have would be commen sense. This is my idil presedent. i highly doubt he's out there, but a girl can dream.

Ms. Vincent says:
It's interesting that you refer to the potential President as "he."

Gravatar My view is that a president should lead by example. Today, you find many "skeletons" and mishaps with presidents. I look for honesty, integrity, courage (to do what is right (bible ways)), honor, calm, cool, and collective(I don't want some wakko running this country). I find that abortion is definatley a major issue today, personally, I am pro-life so I believe our president should be. I also find that the universal health care issue to be way out there (thanks Tameeka). This whole thing about Iraq has gone on long enough, whatever happened to "The U.S. will not meddle in the affairs of other nations?" I have heard rumors among other things of licenses with tracking devices in them, of the which I am scared of(anti-utopian like? a.k.a 1984). I don't know about you, but I like my privacy... oh wait, isn't that in the Constitution somwhere? I also believe that the education for the children and adolescents for the U.S. has gone too far downhill. The standards should be raised. Studying all 13 years to take the ACT and that's it is idiotic. That's not learning, it's like trying to raise us up like unthinking robots(1984). I believe it is time for this government, our government, to begin a revolution. Is it not in an official document from the founding fathers that if the people feel that something is wrong with this government, they have the right to abolish it? But it seems that anyone one that says anything against the government and seems to be a threat to it mysteriously dies or "disapears".(1984) It seems as though this society is becoming the very thing both I and Eric Blair(a.k.a. George Orwell) fear the most, an anti-utopian society. Wow, that was long....sorry.

Gravatar It's important to know what they stand for-values that are closer to mine, rather than opposite. Another thing is listening closely to what they are saying-they never make promises. And lastly, can you picture this person trying to get things done for the better (in a reasonable way)? That is all I thought to consider now. Hope it answers your question.

Gravatar i like the them to do their job any stop sending th young ones over to irac to fight if it aint goin good. and like i said just to do their job.

Gravatar They have to charismatic so when they give speeches they will know how to persuade people. They also have to be literate(unlike our current president)

Gravatar Personally in a President I look for intergity, good morals, and values that are close to mine. Well all of these things are impossible to find in a President today, so I look at where they stand on issues. The biggest isssue(to me) is Universal Healthcare. WE DO NOT NEED IT. And all the candidates running right now have thrown out some kind of form of universal healthcare.Another big issue to me that i look to see where a candidate stands is immigration. Though it may not seem like a big deal to some people at this time since our economy is in billions of dollars in debt and crashing rapidly, I feel very strongly that we need to do something very soon about these illegal aliens or were going to be facing alot more than just economy issues.

Gravatar I believe that a president should be very responsible, and honest to the people s/he is leading among various other things that I can't think of right now.

Gravatar Oh this is gonna be good. First off, a good president should have a strong stand on what he/she believes in( no matter what it is) They should also have a good sense of what is good and bad. They should care about thier country and everyone in. They shouldn't campaign for themselves but for their ideas. A president is only as strong as their followers so rather we like it or not, we have to vote for who we need to be as president. Now that I have told you what my informal qualifications of being president are, here are my personl views(like or not you're still probably gonna keep reading) A universal health care, oddly enough, will strengthen our economy right now. We ARE going through a recession, and people need the help( remember about caring about the people). Also, it should be a womans choice to bear or abort( Roe vs. Wade 1973) The war in Iraq should have never happened in the first place and we need some one who will get us out of there(oh by the way McCain wants to be there about 100 more years). Finally, the country should be run the right way through good judgement and modern norms.(I mean we could go back to the bible ways of stoning, mules and wooden sandles(sarcasist laugh)) So in conclusion I will be voting for Borack Obama if he wins the nomination/ If Hillary wins, then I'll vote for her.

Gravatar I would look for the president not to be as dumb as the previous president's and for him/her to lower the gas prices and get the troops out of Iraq and also to make it where if you commited a crime that you shold go to jail longer than what people usually get. Like I always say it should be the best and most qualified for the job and that goes for any job but mainly being president

Gravatar I want a president to be elected because of what he will do and not for denouncing his fellow candidates. When president they should do what is best for the country and not what is best for their re-election. When they make a mistake they should admit it instead of making the decision turn into something worse. We need a president thatt is for the people.

Gravatar I would like a president who is not fake. And like you, Ms. Vincent, I would like a president who is personable. I would also like a president who won his/her position without mudslinging. I want a nice, peaceful person to become president/

Gravatar Seen as though i will not be able to vote this year i really can not answer to this to my fullest ability.

I look for someone who will get the job done says what s/he means and means what he or she says
integerity some one who has experience some one who is highly educated in the changres that are needed and the changes to come, some one who will not leave a mess for the next person to be in that postition.
I would like our president to be generally young not supper old. Also i would like for the president to have a wide vernacular, it has to be someone i agree with all the way these are just a few of my indiviual requirements
