How can pedophiles both have a choice, but inevitably rape eventually. You can't have it both ways. Either they can think children are sexually attractive and never rape one, or they don't have a choice in the whole thing.
They have a choice.
They first choose to embrace the thoughts of lust they have about children.
The second choice is how they will handle those feelings.
So then if they have two choices that you have clearly identified, not all of them will rape. So then you would admit not all pedos do this, wouldn't you?
No one can say with absolute certainty that a pedophile will not molest a child.
(That is what I meant with how they handle their filthy feelings.)
If they actively seek therapy/change and are honest with everyone about their sexual lust for children at least those people around the pedophile will have the knowledge they need to protect their children.
Just the fact of being a pedophile is enough to actively seek help and do everything in their power not to be a pedophile and if that doesn't work start medications/castration get confined to civil confinement.
So basically if you still havae feelings for kids, but know you would never rape one, you still have to torture yourself (quite a few of those medications are just that, considering all they can do is still sexual desires). How nice you are

Actually I am quite clean thank you very much. I just think if I never hurt a kid (defining that the same way you do) and help kids as much as possible, I should be treated like a human being. Which, for the most part I am, only because you haven't outed me yet. I am sure that is just pedospeak to you, but you know what? I don't give a damn. Okay I understand the fight against molesting. However all this bashing does not help. We need to create a climate so that molestors feel they can come out and reach for help BEFORE THEY MOLEST. There was a man who was brave enough to say look I have not molested a child but I am attracted to little boys please help. So if we want to see a decrease in child molestation we need to figure out how to help the root of the problem the molestor! Some of the more extreme cases are to demented to know its wrong but the ones who know its wrong we can help and prevent them from giving into desire but only when we make them feel like we won't linch them then and there. Until then alot of molestors with no moral support will be consumed by their demons.

Leala - I completely agree with you. The problem we have at the moment is that someone attracted to children doesn't feel that they can talk to a professional when they want to. I've heard stories of guys who've asked for help and have basically been told that it's only available for those who've already offended. That's just mental!!
One minor correction to your post though; in your third sentence you said we need to create a climate where molestors can come out before they molest. I know what you meant, but still it needs to be pointed out that until one has molested, he/she is not a molestor.
