Filipino Librarian
Hi Von & all, my compilation isn't comprehensive, so would appreciate if Pinoy Liblogarians could drop me an email to include you in the list. ALso, not sure if all I've included so far are Liblogarians, i.e.librarian bloggers (pls let me know if I've includded you in error).
That's interesting, that librarians would be a very visible group in the blogworld ... I'm intrigued, because I always wanted to know more about library science and I never seemed to find anyone who was in that particular course. It would be really cool for you guys to have a subgroup ... librarians aren't a group you hear from very often, maybe because there aren't many libraries in Manila outside of the academic ones. (Well, not many that I'm aware of ... sigh.)

Hey Von. It was great to finally meet you at iBlog. The wife (who's also a batchmate of ours) saw your calling card and reminded me why your face is so familiar - she says you're a friend of Nikki Garcia's, who's our blockmate.
I've been inside the ADB once, and I had a glimpse of the library from one of the 3rd-story windows overlooking it. I had the feeling I was looking into the power station of the Death Star - damn it was huge. And I'd love to be let loose in there just to browse for a whole day. Lucky lucky you.

Hehe. The techie-est librarian? Sobra naman. Slight lang. 
I like librarian activities but as I said, the more technical aspects. Mental exercise? Too much socializing can be tiring for me.
Socialization in the workplace with library users is something I need some patience with. Learning to operate a library is something I don't feel I can rush learning. But i have no choice but to do so.
*sigh*
I still wish to remain more on the techie side of libraries. That is the truth.

thanks for affirming what I believe as a librarian in this postmodern generation.
