i really enjoyed reading the book. it mirrors our current political leaders and it somehow addresses the problem regarding the farmers' land.

this was mandatory for 4th year students in my school to read. and we were all "forced" to read the damned book and comprehend the symbolisms and deep tagalog words. I'm proud to say that almost all in our batch have read the book. now, we have to make a detailed book review, and i want to rip my brains out. know any sites that could guide me? i suck at making reviews.

@Louis: try this: READING MGA IBONG MANDARAGIT GIVES ME A BRAIN. period.
here's a tip for you. Read the Twilight Saga first, then Ibong Mandaragit right after. From experience, after i wasted my time reading Twilight, that horribly-written, mind-numbingly inane piece of crap, i CRAVED for something challenging and intellectually stimulating.
so baka mapadali ang pagbabasa nyo ng ibong mandaragit pag nagbasa muna kayo ng twilight. :P
