OMG! I soo remember the GREEN furniture! My mom had it to, YUCK!it had a wooden frame and the green cushions on it. I also remember the metal venitian blinds! She would put them into the TUB and wash them like every 3 months!!
Do you remember the stupid CAT clock? The one the tail and eyes moved??
Then there was the Wrought Iron door stop? My gram had the flower pot one! Now I have it and I have to say , I do treasure it now, but back then... I seamed to be the one that always hit my toe on the thing!! LOL!
I also remember the cris cross curtains! Mom had the ones in the kitchen cape cod kind and the top panels were longer then the bottom and yes they were cris crossed! They were either white ones or her Blue ones!she had two sets of em!
Thank you for bringing all that back to me! I am smiling now! I remember the wringer washers, my

had on+e and one day my aunt used
it, OMG, she was running sheets through the wringer and she got on her tip toes to reach.. welp she ran her BOOB right through it with the sheet!! LOL
I remember her yelling and mom had to release the wringer, she couldn't reach it! I'M laughing now! Thank you for bringing back all the memories!!

This was a good post...it makes me laugh at how many things embarrassed me as a teen about my mom. Hey Ellen, maybe that was the first mamogram...there should be royalties in that wringer washing machine.

I know, i know... I hear that 3 is much worse than 2. DEAR GOD.. give me strength! I just plan on taking things one hour at a time. Hopefully the good will always out way the bad.
