The FarmHouse Kids

Boy can I count on you, I had just heard about the earthquake and my first thought was of you and your family. I should have known that you would have blogged about it already It's all about priorities right? Hehe
Glad things are good but I am sure that it was a bit unsettling. Hope you don't have too many aftershocks.
Kathy

Gravatar Whew! Glad to hear you are okay! Reminds me of the time there was a tornado where we lived. We were on a late night wallyworld shopping trip and they made us all hide out in the shoe department... still can't figure that one out lol.

Gravatar Tiffany

You wouldn't happen to live close to me do you? I got called out to start an IV and left the facility, and went to Wal-Mart right before a big Tornado hit this area a few years ago. Very Scary!!

Gravatar Kathy,

It's my job! Gotta keep the world informed ... heeheheh!

Juli is about 20 minutes from West Salem. No wonder she was scared!

The roar and the sway was the weirdest of it all.

Gravatar Acccording to our news people around here were calling in to report the earthquake this morning. I think we are around 500 miles away from you and it was felt here. All I can say is those are some light sleepers. I can't believe that they felt it that far away. It sure does make you think about the power of those things doesn't it? Glad Juli is okay, I am sure it was very scary for her. Oh and my vote for your dad's letter, save it for Father's Day.

Gravatar Wow! I hear about that on the news this morning. Glad you are ok.

Gravatar Let me tell you theres nothing fun about a shaking hospital (I thought something blew up). Yikes.
Glad everyone seems to be ok.

Gravatar You were the first family I thought of this morning when I saw the news. (don't tell my daughter who lives in IL) Glad to hear all seems to be ok.

Cynthia

Gravatar SO glad to hear that all are well. Blessings!

Gina

I hope all hte ladies in the field were not too shook up to do their jobs... what do I know about these things,,, I LIVE the closest elavation to hell there is. hope all is ok there....

Gravatar Um, no, not unless that was in Texas? It happened in Fort Worth... I live in PA now though. You're right, very scary. I remember finally making it back to the house and everything was ruined except the living room, so the whole block came and sat in my living room all night, drinking mucho amounts of wine, trying to figure out what the heck just happened!
I never thought I would say this but Thank God for late night Walmart trips! LOLOL

Gravatar My son lives in Davenport, Iowa, and he woke up because his bed was shaking.

Gravatar Wow. I had no idea that earthquakes even happened in your area. How scary! I'm glad you all are alright, though, and you didn't even lose your internet! Now that's good technology. hehe

Gravatar I'm glad that everybody is ok. I can't imagine what experiencing an earthquake must feel like!

Gravatar Welcome to life SoCal style! We haven't had a shake like that in awhile- we're overdue I'd say- maybe you got it instead We just had our "Shake 2008" drill at school. Fun, fun, fun! Glad everyone is ok and that the kiddos missed it.
Hugs!
Christina

Gravatar so I'm tagging you! I'm just getting into this blog thing- I'm sure you've been tagged before- but if you are interested you can check out my blog for the details and maybe a chuckle or two
