Let's be glad it happened...
This is the same man who sat reading a children's books for seven minutes after he was informed that a second plane had crashed into the Twin Towers. Yeah, he gave up golf, and our troops are giving up their lives along with the lives of their families. Cheny had the balls to say "the people volunteered"!!! So, I guess that means whomever volunteers gets what he/she deserves. What planet is this administration living on? Recently, I, with some others visited our Senators with a plea to end he Iraq War. We tried to show the relationship of the war to the economy. We tried to convince them that our troops need to be brought home & so does all the billions that we are pouring into that country. Apparently, it had little effect, because Congress passed the war-funding bill again. Is everyone in office deaf or just stupid? I, guess, all us little people can do is keep trying in our own ways to help right this wrong. But it is difficult when you keep runnig into a brick wall...
