I am trying to figure out if McCain is his succesor, what he is promising to do to clean up the sad mess Junior has left you in.
I'm predicting that you'll get one of the "Zombies", (Bob's words, not mine, I rather like Obama) simply because the American people are in shellshock with the crital issues that you face, and it will simply be an anti Republican vote... why don't you do a post to educate me on why you'll still vote Republican? ( not being sarcastic here, it's just that things that happen down there impact us all)

I disagree with a few things Bush has done but THE LAST TIME AL QAEDA ATTACKED THE UNITED STATES ON HER OWN SOIL WAS SEPTEMBER 11th, 2001. Sorry, honey but I aint complainin'. Economy? I don't blame him totally for that either. Remember, we have a Democratic controlled House and Senate.
My question back to you is: What is Obama going to do about it? Oh yeah, I forgot... He's going to "Hope" and "Change". How exactly is he going to do that? Oh he's a great orator. He's got the velvet tongue and is down right easy to listen to. But what answers does HE offer? This man is running on generalities and has no specific answers. Besides that, I don't believe he's distanced himself definitively enough from his very questionable "associations".
John McCain is every Democrat's favorite Republican. I did not vote for him in the primary but I will vote for him in the General Election. Why? That's quite simple... He's the lesser of two evils. Yanking troops out of Iraq will cost more American lives in the future and I fear they will be civilian, not military. Regardless of why or how we got there...WE'RE THERE and our focus should be on what the best course of action is from our current position and not on what we should or should not have done in 2003. God put our eyes on the FRONT of our head for a reason, so we can see where we're headed and not be fixated on where we've been. At least McCain is committed to victory.
It is my belief that Obama and Hillary represent the far far left of the Democratic party. They are socialists by every definition. I am not a socialist and could never vote for one. Many uninformed people will vote for him for the wrong reasons. They think they "identify" with him. But do they really? Many young people will vote for him because HE'S YOUNG, speaks well and uses cool buzz words like "change" and "hope". Many women will vote for him because he smiles pretty, is physically appealing and generally likeable. Many black nationalists will vote for him for no other reason than because he is black. These people have been duped by his bland campaign and empty promises. Obama has the most liberal voting record in the Senate, even more liberal than Hillary, not that Hillary is the better choice. Asking me which one is better is like asking me how I'd like to die... by having my entrails pulled out or by being stoned to death. They both sound equally painful.
