I've got my hand up ...
something to chew on:
Obama sought moderate gun control measures, such as a 2000 bill he cosponsored to limit handgun purchases to one per month (it did not pass). He voted against letting people violate local weapons bans in cases of self-defense, but also voted in2004 to let retired police officers carry concealed handguns.

Hillary
Q: Did any role that federal government plays fail those students at Virginia Tech?
A: Yes.
McCain:
John McCain believes that the right of law abiding citizens to keep and bear arms is a fundamental, individual Constitutional right. We have a responsibility to ensure that criminals who violate the law are prosecuted to the fullest, rather than restricting the rights of law abiding citizens. Gun control is a proven failure in fighting crime. Law abiding citizens should not be asked to give up their rights because of criminals--criminals who ignore gun control laws anyway.

sorry I didn't get to finish my thought. I didn't let Hillary expound on her answer for the sake she tries to double talk. Her blaming of the federal government in a precursor to further violate the second amendment by fix of the fed then the citizen.
As for Obama, nothing more then said abouth protecting the innocent. I would like to see him in a position to protect himself in an average citizen capacity.

Easy to make these decisions for the throngs of peasants when you have a Secret Service detail outside.

You spelled "invision" wrong, so clearly you don't know what you're talking about.

What? I have no idea what you're talking about! I spelled it "envision".
Actually I misspelled a bunch of stuff. I think I fixed them all though.
Only spelling bee champions with PhD's and 160 IQ's should be able to voice their opinion in a print medium. All others should be silenced!
Good thing I'm a genius pioneering rocket scientist who earned his dual PhD's in Quantum Mechanics and Fluid Dynamics from M.I.T. at the age of 14 and won the Scripps National Spelling Bee 4 times in a row. I also tinker around with brain surgery in my spare time.

I'm not sure, but I would say you are a wee bit passionate about this subject....LOL You have every right to! I seriously don't understand how people can be so dense. Do they really think that law abiding citizens are the problem? Or that the criminals will be hindered one tiny bit by the law. They are getting their guns illegally and we are the ones that won't be able to protect ourselves. I always liked the phrase....guns don't kill people, people kill people!

Actually, guns don't kill people, bullets do.
Unless you sort of beat them to death with the upper receiver, or something.

Add a red dot for Washington DC.
Another crime ridden, violent, pest hole. And the rest of the city outside of Kennedy's house is bad too.
