Gravatar I resent my post being used to show "the mainstream" trying to marginalize the Libertarian Party.

I would hardly call a libertarian blogger a part of the "mainstream", and I cannot see why I should want to marginalize the one party in America I agree with more than any other. However, clearly there are better candidates within the party than Ruwart.

Gravatar If you read what I wrote, I never call you "the mainstream". Key word "illustrates".

The overall point is that if phrases like the above are used by libertarian bloggers, just imagine what the mainstream will do with comments like that if she were the nominee.

Gravatar This might be radical, but maybe if you actually read the entire post, you'd see that I was hardly "mariginalizing" the party, I simply said that a different candidate would get the nomination.

Gravatar You're not understanding the concept.

The point is that if we have libertarian-friendly blogs taking the quotes and describing them in a way that would freak out the mainstream, just imagine what the mainstream media will do with a quote like that.

Gravatar You should write about this for LFV. We have one viewpoint there now, I'd like to see the other side of the proverbial coin as well.
