Welcome Senator. If we had more people like Senator Gravel in our party, we would be much better off.
Who gives a shit if he doesn't agree with the LP 100%. Hell, I don't either. If we can't be open minded, we are no better than republicans or democrats.

I agree with your sentiments -- I never meant to imply that I did not welcome Senator Gravel into the party -- merely that he has bridges to build within the party because of a long history of anti-libertarian economic policies, but there's no reason why good people cannot have a change of heart, and perhaps Senator Gravel will turn out to be a great ambassador for our party, but I believe there is little doubt that many within the movement will be less than trusting initially of Senator Gravel.
