I clicked over here from Weddingbee and I'm really glad that I got to read this.

I feel the exact same way as does mr mouse. We're both inviting exes (strangely they're named Erin and Aaron). I'm pretty sure Aaron won't come, but Erin is flying over from Japan. They're special people in our lives and helped us grow into the wide world of relationships. I might feel a twinge of jealousy here or there, but it means so much that she cares enough about him to be there it far outweighs any petty feelings I have.

I don't think closeness has to be defined in terms of romantic love and if the friendshp you have out lasts the lustfulness it says something good about your character.
