I lived in North Carolina for awhile and if you want a place with diversity in North Carolina, your best bet is the Raleigh-Durham area. I am from California so it still felt really white washed to me but it was much more diverse than the other areas of the South that I went to. Charlotte is supposed to be nice also but in the time I spent there, it never really struck me as a city and the suburbs are very white.
Of course there's a website. Lol.
Thanks for the tip, that's been seconded by a friend who said if we look at NC, the triangle's the way to go.
