I believe its in 1Cor. 4:7 that it says that"there is nothing that we have, that we have not been given". This should arrange our lives in many ways. We can't work for it, we can't earn it, we can't be good enough for it,we had not be arrogant about it. Powerful stuff. As you know, I have the same problem. Its hard, but we need to dwell on these points.
By the way Other Old Man, you have a wonderful daughter.
