Gorgeous lace! A friend of mine gave me a great tip about blocking lace - put it on a sheet and pin it out all stretched, then hang up the sheet.

Good luck with the hemp! I have some nettle yarn that I might need to try boiling - it's more coarse than twine.

Where are you moving to in the States?

Beautiful throw, Elf! I haven't yet worked up the courage to try knitting lace, but I got a new pattern book for my birthday recently, so I might try a lacy shawl.

Interesting to read about the hemp-knitting issues, too.
