i have to agree with the last comment. i don't know how long you'd been seeing this woman but we all 'come out' of ourselves at different rates. and even if someone appears to be quite 'open' in the general scheme of things, it can take a long time for them to really trust or just to feel a need to get closer. if you cant enjoy the here and now (rather than the hear and now which is what we tell each other rather than the truth!), then your potential for a enjoyable future is limited. why do we put pressure on our feelings so early?
women are often guitly talking about it and harrasing their partners, but i find that men often seem to feel the same, but if a woman seems distant they assume she just wants sex and judge them for that- if they are fine with it they put the woman in that box- if they are not they look elsewhere for someone who will 'fall' for them quickly in the way they expect.
and it means we all miss out on the slowly evolving closeness that could come if we gave our sexual relationships the time we routinely give to new friendships...
