Dear Charles,
Are you saying that all physical existence is a series of dream states? Can reincarnation be explained as the varying past dream states, which at one time the mind believed to exist? What do you think of Carl Jung's theory that we go from different bodies in order to learn the lessons unlearned in the previous mind led existence?

RE: "Are you saying that all physical existence is a series of dream
states?"
The very term "physical existence" is an illusion - arising with the mind as an exterior phenomena via the senses. Consciousness (awareness of the true self) is all pervading and transcends any "notion" of physicality. Although the short simplistic answer to this first question is "yes" always remember that the term "dream" is generic and encompasses many different levels and experiences that we so casually label "a dream".
RE "Can reincarnation be explained as the varying *past* dream
states, which at one time the mind believed to exist?"
Simplistically speaking "yes". That is why I prefer to use the term "dream sojourns" rather than "past lives". Although, don't get hung up on the word *past*. The true self (reality) is always of the ever present. The mind is always of the past.
RE: "What do you think of Carl Jung's theory that we go from different bodies in order
to learn the lessons unlearned in the previous mind led existence?"
I cannot give an "opinion" on another's "theory". Jung was greatly influenced by the spiritual knowledge of the eastern traditions. It is best that the student also goes to the source of these traditions to enquire, rather than to Jung the intermediary. But please do continue to ask of yourself, "What or who is the "we" (or I) that, as you say, "goes from different bodies in order etc". Once you discover this true "I" - you will realise that the true "I" is all encompassing, total and beyond time, thus the original question becomes obsolete. (See also the answer I gave to Julie's question in the posting "Enlightenment is not individualized or separate".)
Love always
