There is only one God ( or whatever name you want to use ); me, and you, have no existence except in ignorance, there is only God's existence. However, it cannot be said that, for example, a flower is God, because God is the idivisible whole, and the flower is only one of God's manifestations ( the human is another ). Yes, the flower is there, to be seen, its perfume to be sensed, its petals to be touched, but it has no existence apart from God's existence.
God is the same, at whatever level realisation occurs : there are not several God's. Thus realisation can occur at any level.
As Charles Goodwin says, there are many levels, of life's phenomena ( God's potential is unlimited, without begining and without end ). If it is believed that it is necessary to progress towards the ending of ignorance through a number of levels, then, as long as that belief is held it is part of the believer's karma. But, if that belief is given up, God can be realised at the first, or any other level.
There are different levels of knowledge, and they can be discussed, described, used; but knowing is spontaneous, instantaneous, formless, and liberating.
Karma, being an activity of phenomena, is subject to change. There is general karma, with wide ranging effects, and there is particular karma. There is inherited karma, from our forebears, providing a variety of physical and psychological characteristics, and there is the karma arising from ideas firmly held. Both types may be modified by circumstances; thereby changing the karmic effects; but the ending of karma is in the true understanding of thought/emotion and the realisation of The Essential Nature of All. Until then, there is no free will, nor anything but relative freedom. For as long as actions are motivated by ideas, habits, fashions, customs, traditions, there is no free will. Although it is true that when there is Freedom there is free will, and for example, going to a golf course naked is a possibility, this raises the possibilities of not being permittred to play golf, and of needlessly offending others.
Destiny, according to the dictionary, means "predetermined events"; so, another word for karma and therefore subject modification by circumstances, and its ending in the deliverance of knowing.
Because there are different characteristics, different levels, understanding may be faster or slower. Nevertheless, The Essential Nature which, alone, can Truly Understand, is the same regardless of levels, characteristics, doubts, questions, however different.
These comments may help to bring doubts and questions into focus, but the questioner has to look inwards for True Understanding and Knowing/Realisaton. The exterior can only offer advice, or opinions, and the advice may be inappropriate.
It is certain that whenever a serious need is internalised, there will be an appropriate response ( response is not the same as reaction; the first is True Intelligence and the second is interaction of manifested phenomena ), response not from some extraordinary entity, nor from a God "up there". The need has arisen within the manifestations of the only God, and it is only God who is able to respond. God responding to God. There is no other.
