I am not gonig to get into the merits of the war in Iraq, because I am not completely sold. Whether the war is right or not, however, is not the point. We are there and stuck there now, it is time to do it right.

I don't care about peace treaties or conventions, there are no rules in war. War is war, Sherman had it right in 1864 and it is still right today. If you are at war with a country, you line up all your troups, tanks, and air craft and start marching. Destroy every soldier and resource in site, and you also kill any civilian, man woman or child that attempts to get in your way. Once you destroyed the psyche of the resistance you can concentrate on rebuilding. Until then, it is a waste of time to try to rebuild or put a new government in place. This war would have been over in the summer of 2003 and the majority of Iraq would have been rebuilt by now had we went to WAR, rather than try to assist in a revolution.
