Tickets to the Messiah! I am so envious! There is seldom a performance near here. Or I don't find out about it until way too late.
As for your friend on chemo, please do not go if you are running a fever or coughing, etc. And advise her other friends of the same. (Unless, of course, she really doesn't mind the risk!) With chemo the immune system drops to nil due to low white blood counts. I had to have neupogen shots to boost production of the white cells numerous times during my 6-month time of chemo. I was terrified I would catch a cold that could quite instantly land me in the hospital. I stopped shaking hands, used hand alcohol every time I touched anything in public. My friends were very good about "not hugging" me. LOL. God blessed me by getting me through that time with no illness other than the effects of the chemo.

I had wondered, and I found out she is not going to be there. We're all to bring soup - with plenty for the hosts to deliver to her - and I'm sure there will be a prayer time.
I just happened to be on the phone with my friend, and on the computer at the same time, looking for the e-mail I received about the holiday pops conerts when I found the Messiah listing accidentally. Ususally I'd not find out until it was sold out.
