So, what, we should pass a law requiring banks to lend money to people who have no ability to repay the loan?

Then, no doubt, we'll need a law declaring a moritorium on collecting those debts when they aren't paid.

Then when the banks fail and need to be bailed out, I suppose it'll be Bush Junior's fault, just as the S&L disaster was blamed on Bush Senior.

I'm sometimes astounded at how dumb people can be about loans. I've had people tell me that some lenders won't give loans to black people.

This is so patently ludicrous that I'm amazed people believe it.

Also, if any of you people who believe it are out there, please send all those people who are denied loans because of their race to me. Green is the only color I care about.

I just love this ridiculous idea that somehow businesses are "Conservative" or "right wing".

This little nugget keeps being repeated over and over despite the fact that businesses cater to left wing causes and bend over for them every day (affirmative action anyone?)
