Sooooo, let's see if we can detect the irony here. It really won't be that hard.
"The trouble, he said, was not with running diverse viewpoints but in finding high-quality writers to represent the right. There was, he noted, no similar requirement to run one liberal piece per day."
Okay, so, a SECOND dismissed employee of the Strib, arguably the most DFL-dominated rag there is in the state, is finding a welcome home with Minnesota Monitor of all venues.
Honestly, couldn't the requirement to run "one" conservative piece per day make him realize how many liberal pieces dominate the Strib?

Forget all that krep and just make up your mind: is this a 'ThunderJournal' or a 'Thunder Journal?' Inquiring and nattering minds would like to eventually catch a clue as to the possible resolution of said conflict - provided it might eventually lead to the probability of an answer at some yet undisclosed point in the future. Or something.

It's a 'ThunderJournal'. Any space between the "Thunder" and the "Journal" is purely unintentional and should be treated as a typo.
