Hooray gap! I'm in between jean sizes now due to my diet/exercise program. I desperately need a smaller pair, but I haven't wanted to invest in expensive designer jeans because I plan on losing more weight. This gift certificate would certainly help a girl out.
Oooh...I'm in need of jeans right now - although the fact that it's maternity jeans that I'm in need of is a tad less fun in terms of shopping. But the gift card would certainly help my "I need a whole new wardrobe STAT" budget, and Gap seems to have better maternity wear than many of the options out there...
I have exactly 2 pairs of jeans that I wear and feel good in. I definitely need to expand that section of my wardrobe. And its so nice that Gap has Long sizes - I need that.

I also have a bubble bottom, which I never really minded other than the fit-problems it creates. I figure it's better than having no butt at all! I never thought to take a look at the side seam, though. Thanks for the advise!
Gah, I live in Texas so it's hard to even look at a pair of jeans right now when it's 100+ degrees every. single. day. but man, Gap is tempting me, I'm loving the dark wash perfect boot jeans. Super cute.

Thanks for the bubble butt advice. I hate that! Part of the bubble butt problem I have is the gapping (no pun intended) created in the back of the waistband. Does centering the seam help this, too?
I am finding that all my expensive designer jeans get less wear than my 50-60 mid range jeans. Thanks for the tip about the seam- I have never heard that before!

I just don't know why you'd want to conceal the bubble butt. I need new jeans - I don't think it's healthy that lately I've been thinking of jeans the same way I do pointy heels: look great, hurt like hell to walk around in. Guess the time has come to go up a size, gah!
The best jean advice that I ever got was to wash your dark jeans with vinegar to keep the color of the jeans dark. It was really helped me over the years! I haven't worn Gap jeans in a long time and I'd love to try them again after reading about your experience! Pick me! Pick me! =)
