I know what you mean about the paperwork. You do get used to it, and it's great to volunteer at the school, even if it's just to let your child know that you will find out everything they do.

It also makes the teachers/admin much nicer to you and your child. I don't care what anyone says about it not really making a difference. I've seen it firsthand. You get treated much better if you volunteer!
