I don't know if they still have it, now that I am thinking, but when I was thinking of having our first and had crappy insurance, there was something called maternity card that my sister had used. I have heard of it from time to time since, may be worth looking into. I will see if I can find it.
Oh My Goodness Gracious! That is HORRIBLE!! Does your state offer Medicaid for women when they are pregnant? I guess it's something you could look into. Really, I hope you find a solution soon.
