Talk to me!

Gravatar My list is embarrassingly short... Queen, Oingo Boingo, The Police, The BusBoys, X, The Dixie Dregs, Yes, Rank and File, The Chieftains, Roger Whittaker, Billy Squier... I forget a couple of others. Can you tell I went to most of my concerts in the 80's?

Big one coming up in July... My first Beatle. Ringo Starr! We're taking the kids, because they love Ringo too. Heck, who doesn't love Ringo?!

Gravatar got to love loudness and ben folds on the same list.

Gravatar I suppose living in an area that artists would actually play makes a bit of a difference.

I've seen a few of those (. I don't get out much.

I'll add Buckwheat Zydeco, Anders Osborne, the subdudes, Tonic, Medeski Martin and Wood, 3rd Eye Blind, Dr. John, Bob James, Tower of Power, B.B. King, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Wheat, Neville Brothers, The Meters...

Gravatar That smiley face was supposed to be the number eight as I've seen only eight off of your list.

Gravatar Phil- I would love to have seen Queen, Oingo Boingo, or Billy Squire. Ringo, or the luckiest man ever born as I like to call him, would be fun, too.

Moe Berg- I try to spread it around.

Ed- Dr. John, Toad the Wet Sprocket and B.B. King are all shows I'd like to see.

Gravatar well hells bells, I think you DID

Gravatar Ringo is touring ???!!!

This is my list of gigs in the last eight years ...

The Who

Everything else would be second best after that.

Gravatar Interesting list. Yanni & the Village People? Where did you see them? I would love to see Lyle Lovett but I think he must be scared of flying cos I don't think he's ever been here.

Gravatar Great list, but greater that you can remember them all.

I'm clueless as to how many I've been to. Living smack dab in metro-Detroit, with so many venues ... I can't count them.

The being & staying high in my youth has nothing to do with that though, mmm-hummm, right.

Gravatar I should try this sort of post as I've been to a ton of shows, too. Not many recently. But my HS and college days were loaded with them.

How were the Chris Isaak shows? I've wanted to see him badly and never get around to it.

Gravatar Holy crap...that is a lot of live music.

I have never been one to hit up a lot of concerts...embarassingly enough, the short list includes AirSupply (twice) and Chicago (three times). Sad, I know.

Gravatar *middle finger extended in your direction*

Gravatar The Village People? On purpose?

I once accidentally walked through the Lilith Fair in Central Park.

Gravatar Flutter- I'm a trendsetter

Gary- Who?

AK- I saw Yanni back in his heyday. I bought the tickets to treat my mom but she got sick so I took my buddy's girlfriend. Dangerous business, that. We saw the Village People free in the park.

Nancy- I'm sure I didn't remember them all. That's most of them, but I too was a bit tipsy during most of my 20's.

Kapgar- Chris Isaak puts on a good show. He's great with the crowd and really funny. I saw him at the beginning of his career and then again a few years ago.

Matthew- Hey, that's not very 'Street' like

Darren- They were free in the park and we figured what the hell.

Gravatar OK, I've got you all beat with the shortest concert list ever. I saw The Tragically Hip (which I did not enjoy much) and U2 (which was awesome). That's it. I love music, but I'm not too crazy about live music.

Gravatar Journey. Raised on Radio 1986. First. Best. EVER.

Gravatar Nicole- I like the Tragically Hip, but I never saw them in concert

Journey- You know, that may be the tour I saw them on, right about that time. I caught some balloon thing that Steve Perry threw into the audience, because you know, I rushed the staged.

Gravatar I don't think I could remember every show I have ever been too. I blame the marijuana.

Gravatar Sizzle- I knew a guy that smoked marijuana one time, that guy was crazy.

Gravatar How was Nick Cave?
