Talk to me!

We had about three months of no moisture.
Then, three days ago, I unroll our gigantic inflatable water slide to clean off the sand and dirt from a long summer of use by the kids. Then I leave it sitting out to dry before it's put away for winter.
It hasn't stopped raining since! I wonder if I wash my car, will that make the rain stop? Or should I turn my sprinkler system off to make the rain go away? I'm not sure how that all works.

Hope the rain comes through for you. If not you could always go stand in the shower.

I'm back and forth. I grew up in the dry west. I like it dry. But on the otherhand, living out here in this land of green hills and a million bugs - I've kinda gotten used to the moisture... for the most part. Some days I just can't stand it too.

I was going to write about this same thing this weekend. They've been promising here for the last two days and we ACTUALLY had a drizzle two days ago. I almost pissed myself with excitement. And it was just a drizzle.
Lord help my underwear if it downpours.

I really hope that you woke up this morning to the tapping of rain against your window. I keep checking the weather forecast in anticipation of cooler temps but all I see for our future is 90, 90, 90.

It rained for about two seconds here a couple of days ago. After all the hype about a big storm on the way. Yeah, I miss the rain too.

Once again, I have to tell you, come home, come home. Rained at our house in AZ just last night with the "promise" of more for the weekend.

Wow! Talk about extremes. Seattle to Cali. Try coming to New England. Its true what they say "if you don't the weather, just wait a minute."

Here is Las Vegas, which is practically the dryest place on earth, we feel the same way about the rain. If only...

Still no rain. We were misinformed.
Of course, I've been brave and have been riding the bike to work. I'll probably get slammed on the way home today.
