I feel bad for him!
I can remember that happening to me, as clear as if it was yesterday. Except I didn't get up to dry off. I snuggled in to keep warm.
I swear to God I have that dream nearly every night. But by some miracle I manage to wake myself up and go to the bathroom instead of fulfilling my dream. I can only hope this miracle continues.

Nothing like a wet pee-smelling kid in the early morning hours. I like your avoiding the bath and placing a towel over the wet spot for him to sleep. My wife would absolutely kill me if I did that.
I guess you should be glad he didn't dream about a bonfire.
I love him patting himself dry. Princess gets up after she pees in the bed and yells, Moooommmmmy. I'm wet." and sits there.
sweet story. makes pissing the bed sound postively poetic.
My greatgrandmother told me that when the depression was on all her brothers and sisters would huddle together in one bed for warmth and since it was too cold to go outside to pee they'd just pee right there in the bed.
I don't know why I just told you that story but I feel better having gotten it off my chest.
ah, remnds me of when one of my boys was potty training and he told me that his penis was "breathing" and then pointed to his little twitching boner...
"what a great name for a metal band," i thought.
then he asked the question: "does your penis breathe dad?"
now how would you answer that?
Been there with The Champ a few times also. No towel here, though. Mrs. Joe will wash him down while I remake his bed with a spare set of sheets that are always close by.

I remember having that dream too, funny. I'm hoping for the dream where I hit the powerball.
