If you don't stop making me all teary-eyed I'm going to stop reading you.
That was a lie.
Best wishes for a slow and wonderful year four.

Oh no, poor baby! And I don't mean Atticus! Sounds like daddy deserves a drink at the Disney bar (is there a Disney bar?)

I couldn't believe how sore my back would get after carrying Henry around for a few hours...and that was when he was a baby. Glad you survived to blog about it.

Often on after dinner car rides Connor insists on pretending to be asleep so I will carry him to bed. Invariably this happens when I have half a million other things to carry into the house. But then I stop and think, "will this be the last time I have the privilege of carrying his tired little body like this?" The knowledge of what is coming changes everything, doesn't it?

Happy Birthday to the wee one!
Even as an adult, it amazes me how much wondermont (new word) and awe there is when I first get to Disneyland and then how much I sound like the new character Grumblina when I leave .

What a touching post. I hope you show it to him when he's 21. My niece turned 10 Wednesday, and my sister is still a bit blown away by the "double digits" thing. So am I, come to think of it!

Happy Birthday Atticus.
Sometimes I can't wait for when the kiddos are older so that the teething is done or potty trained or walking without all the trips and falls. Then I realize in a few years I'm going to wish I could have this little girl back. We can enjoy it while we can.

Great post! Hopefully being at home things will slow some. The Champ turns 6 in Sept. I hear they start forgetting who you are then.
