I was in media blackout at work tonight so I could watch the Derby as a know-nothing. I am glad I did. I can't decide what is cooler... Josh Hamilton pulling his shit together or the fact that he had a 71 year old throwing to him.

Holy crap. It sounds like the universe has it in for both of us this week. (I too have battled ants in the house, vehicle damage, and health issues both personal and in the family - although fortunately no surgeries.)

Oh dear. Well I'm a little late here, but such is my life lately. I use "fine" alot. And those closest to me know, it doesn't mean "fine"; it means everything pretty much sucks but you're not going to hear about it from me so back off. But what I really want to say in times such as that, is the other very effective, stress reducing, eyebrow raising, white trash word that has four letters and starts with F. [and no, it's not "fail", because we both know, that's not really an option in this stupid grown-up world we're in and expected to be all responsible and sh*t] And so we laugh, instead of cry.
