ha! i totally do that too dude and it drives my wife crazy (and she me crazy for throwing them away!)

i toted this one around for months:

she got drunk on Merlot and posted videos of her cat on YouTube to the tune of a million viewers yet she couldn't remember doing it.

I do that too... write things down then find them later, just scraps. I seem to have good opening paragraphs that never amount to anything.
