Talk to me!

Gravatar Oh the horror! Guinness workers on strike would be a travesty of epic proportions.

Gravatar i shan't bore you with what I think of unions, but I will instead say

I make Guinness cake.

Gravatar Oh dear God, NO. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Gravatar Well this is not good. Perhaps it's time that I start making my own beer?

Gravatar Great. Now you and Karl will start crying.

Gravatar Damn the Man!

Gravatar What!? This is unacceptable.

I am going to write a stern letter to the Man straight away!

(do you have his address?)

Gravatar Holy crap. I'm going to have a breakdown.

Gravatar Look dude, you can always crack open a Miller Light. Tastes Great! (Or is it Less Filling? I forget.)

Gravatar Dude, there's good news, especially since you live in California.

Try the Imperial stout from the Stone brewery in San Diego... in my humble opinion, their stout beats Guiness to hell and gone. I know this is heresy, but just try it, you'll love it.

Gunfighter

Gravatar Jason- frightening, isn't it?

flutter- will said cake fit in a mailbox?

Jennifer- believe it, baby!

Dave2- will said beer fit in a mailbox?

Sizzle- in all fairness, Karl was already crying

Ed- I'm tired of him keeping us down

Sam- no, but I have his url

Karl- stock up!

ChildplayX2- it doesn't matter, because it's swill. You and I have a talk coming.

Gunfighter- I actually used to work at Stone brewery. I love the stout (and many others) but Guinness just holds a very special place in my heart (liver). I'm actually a bigger fan of Stone's Porter.

Gravatar I would die. We cannot let this happen!

Gravatar There might be one thing we have in common that might celebrate. Our livers... I have been drinkin beaus...www.beaus.ca and they are coming out with a beer called bog water... a mix of Yoda and alchool I think

Gravatar Liquor commissions went on strike in the province I lived in when I was 20. No alcohol was available for public purchase and of course the bars/restaurants were running dry in days. Yes it lasted weeks. It was torture when you've only been the legal drinking age for one year and it's summertime. I have felt this kind of pain. Let this just be a rumoured threat.

Gravatar Dont those workers know how good they got it? There would be a line of workers out the door if Guinness paid their employees in beer. I'd prefer Smithwicks, but I'd work for it just the same.

Gravatar Err... so as I understand it... Guinness workers going on strike would be considered a bad thing?

Oh well, I guess you learn something new every day

Gravatar Kapgar- lease don't

DavidR- the force sounds strong in that one

motherbumper- you were 20 during prohibition?

A.A.Joe- as I said before, I worked at Stone Brewery and they actually gave me beer to take home from my interview, I sat in the car and called everyone I knew

DutchBitch- it would vex us

Gravatar Guiness is the only beer Mrs. LIAYF will drink. This is worse than you are making it out to be. I am going to go out and hoard me some. To hell with everyone else!

Gravatar hops shortage raises price of beer.

man considers switching to wine.

wine.

well not yet but if Two Hearted Ale goes over the $10 mark then i have but no other choice.

Gravatar James- my wife loves it, too. That's what drew me to her.

Greg- nothing wrong with wine. How's that Two Hearted? Good I assume.
