I was looking forward to it also, but I didn't plan ahead financially- wish I had.
There are countless areas AROUND Seattle that I'd live in... Whidbey Island is gorgeous, and not so rainy. Up north on the Olympic Peninsula (Port Angeles, Sequim) is somewhere I could call home. I get near that sea air and find my whole body relaxing. Good luck with a decision. Make it quick and don't look back.
Gosh I look all naked up there by myself, not a stitch of link on me.

A few years ago, when I took the quiz, I had quite a few places in Washington. Tacoma was number two. I've never been to Washington so I have no idea if I'd like it.
I know it's too far from your family and career but I can see you in Boston. Boston is a lot of fun.

Phil- I've lived in Seattle proper and I've lived in one of the surrounding towns. I think with the boys we're thinking we'd like to be a bit closer to nature, which is still less than 30 minutes into the city, so that's cool.

I like Seattle. It's the complete opposite of Vegas and your current neck of the woods...errr desert.

Yes, Seattle is a real easy sell at this time of year. I love it here and probably take it for granted a bit too much. The real key is if you can take it in January!

James- My least favorite time in Seattle is Jan-March. Once all the holiday lights come down it is awfully dark.

If you like Washington, and want to be closer to nature, come down to the Olympia area. We just love it here!
