Your description "(see: ugly houses crammed next to one another and surrounded by cul-de-sacs)", however, was much to narrow in scope. It applies to every new development in NWA since well before I moved here. It's a game my wife and I play all the time: If money were no object, would you want the 5,000 sq ft house within three feet of the neighbors or the 1,200 sq ft house on an acre?

I would almost rather live in a Lindsey apartment than some of those subdivisions.

Sorry, I'll stop ranting, you hit a sore spot.
