Thank you for the kitchen tour! I am astonished how well things from the past hold up...and new appliances don't last five years!
Your stove is a treasure as is your special plate!
I have a similiar plate but it has a funny sentiment on it. I will post it soon! It's very odd...and it was my mothers :o)

Hey I just loved that poem "Animal Crackers"! I haven't heard that since I was a kid!
