I have gone through sinus problems, it is not fun, I know how you feel. With in the past year I have had 2 sinus surgries.

Thankfully, they found the problem. I hope you are able to avoid surgury. I have had sinus surgury but mine wasn't that bad. A friend of mine has sinus problems so bad they had to go and clean everything out before she got any relief. I hope you are able to get a really good ENT. (And I have had no problems since my surguryover 5 years ago. I actually breathe much better and my asthma improved.)
I'm so glad they found the problem - that's half the battle over with!
I've had sinus problems forever - until I started flushing out my sinuses with an alkalol and water mixture. I haven't had an infection in over a year. It's kinda gross to do, but ohmyGod it's worth it to not have to have the surgery.

I hadn't read this post yet when I commented on the other one - I've been a victim of similar chronic sinusitis; good luck! I hope they are able to find a way to help clear it up, I know how terrible it can be! I am sure the ENT doc will be able to treat it, and I'll be sending you positive thoughts and prayers!
I'm also sorry that we won't have your knitting podcasts anymore. But as another sinus sufferer I can certainly understand! Hope you feel better!

Akkk! that is no good. you might try using a neti pot and saline solution to help keep your sinus clear and clean. It is a wierd concept at first but the results are wonderful. Check it out :
