She clearly couldn't stand the heat of comments like this, and to be honest I couldn't. You can't take the 'moral high ground' when you react in this way.

I didn't say I was taking the moral high ground - merely invited people to decide whether either of us could. As my opponent has withdrawn her blog it is to the greater public detriment that no one will now be able to judge - a real shame in my view because I know what has been said and would have been interested to see a genuine public reaction to the whole picture

Rubbish Mrs G. You are going too far with your venomous comments. Mrs Noke's remarks about you are nothing in the same league as what you have produced. I'm quite frankly disgusted with your behaviour, especially your remarks about Footballers Wives and your unfair comparison in your local party rag that I will never vote for you. If you can't take the stick then why don't you do the decent thing and end this blog as well. That way, there will be a much fairer contest not based on personalities.
