I've no idea if he does, or does not, have a car - but many people OWN cars who do not DRIVE them for various reasons.

It's terrible he thinks that. I'm sure mr Blunkett's car is well looked after and valeted by his chauffeur. In fact, it's so bad, I wouldn't buy a car from him either. I wouldn't even buy a used Jag from that fat oaf Prescott for the things he wants to do ie. regional govt so he can concrete our countryside. Oh dear, I'm non-PC. I must wash my mouth out with soap and water and go to detention to write out 100 lines for bad behaviour.

I wouldn't really call this politically incorrect. The used car thing is a common phrase used to question somebody's trustworthyness.

Besides, Blunkett apparently often says things like "nice to see you", and on one occasion, of David Davis, "I've almost forgotten what he looks like".

Seems as though some people should really lighten up a little and that includes a few of our elected representatives. Looking at our roads, one could say many shouldn't be on them anyway by the way they drive.

Don't take the post too seriously, it was just bad humour no doubt.
