Interesting reading but it won't happen.

I get the feeling there's an election on the way, judging by your words.

I expect better from my MP than entries such as this. Look after your own corner rather than have a go like this because people are going to get very fed up and vote for someone else.

Oh, come on you lot! Give the lass a chance! Scroll back and see how many pantomimes she's been to already this season. She believes in fairy stories - she's even written some -it's a Lib hallmark!

I am sorry Liz "expects better". The point of a blog generally is to provide a diary and comment and most blogs do link to other sites. I was merely drawing attention to two articles written about election prospects but I can assure Liz that I do "look after my own corner first". That may not come across but I spend a lot of time dealing with individual problems and some of these would be identifiable if I put details on the blog.
I also think that there are occasions when people do like to know the views of their MPs - probably why I get lots of letters asking for opinions etc.

I would also say to Liz that it is a shame that my opponent has now withdrawn her blog so that you could see some of the political comments she has made in the past. You would then be in a fairer position to judge.

Keep it up, Sandra.

The Indy article demonstrates very well how absurd our voting system is. The Lib Dems should win the election because they have the policies that most people support - so much for demoracy.

Russell - dream on!!!

That’s interesting reading Sandra up your offer to older people and who knows what might happen.

I wasn't 'dreaming', I was stating the demonstrated fact.

Our offer to older people is pretty good all ready. Extra cash, free care and public transport?

Russell with that attitude you wont impress me or I suggest the majority of older voters. Non of the offers are good enough yet.

I thought that Sandra said at the beginning of October last year that she wasn't going to answer to anyones views. What is more strange is that last April if I can remember quite rightly, she said that she was against making personal attacks. Seems like what goes round comes round.

I did say that in October but a girl is entitled to change her mind. I am not sure where the personal attacks are though. My comment was on the Tories as a party and I am not sure how this can be deemed personal by any stretch of the imagination
