I've been perusing the "Blogs of Note" and found your's very interesting. I was reading your voting record page and other information you have available for your constituents and applaud this rather unconventional way of communtication!
I mostly want to thank you for your support of gay rights. As a gay teenager from America who is very interested in politics it is always refreshing to see someone on our side. I'm not sure how the rest of parliament feels about the issue of gay rights but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for fighting for the right of gays and lesbians in Britain! Maybe the Congress over here will finally realize how foolish they're being about this issue (and the plethera of other issues Americans are hated for) before I end up moving to Canada. God bless you! J | Email | Homepage | 05.26.05 - 5:19 am | #

As a student, I would like to know in a future blog how you intend working differently since you have a tiny majority. For example do you plan to spend less time in London or in the UK media? Can you still afford to give as much time to female issues or are you going to do it your way and stick to what you enjoy? Just interested. Thanks. Sue | Email | Homepage | 05.26.05 - 2:25 pm | #

PMQs seem a bit pointless to me. Based on your time as an MP how would you improve democracy in the Commons? Nicky | Email | Homepage | 05.26.05 - 7:56 pm | #

From Spain,
It's so strange for me reading from a MP en a blog!.
I would like Spanish MP would do what you are doing in that blog.

Arenal,
You should do what some people in the UK have done. Set up a blog on behalf of your MP. This is what started Sandra and Boris Johnson off with their blogs.

To J,
Whilst I am not gay myself, equal rights is very important to me as a liberal. Which state do you live in? James | Email | Homepage | 05.27.05 - 2:46 pm | #
