Wessex Chap...Obviously you lot cannot see the humour and one thing I don't like is seeing examples of bad grammer. I was educated mainly under a Labour administration, within what they call, one of their "bog standard" comprehensives. This was when standards began to deteriorate rather badly in schools. Mind you, at least I wasn't fed with some of the rubbish that's served up today to many of our poor children. What government were you educated under then? Couldn't have been a liberal one. |

I was also educated under both Conservative and Labour Governments, both fairly useless. You are quite right about the standard of school food though, it became truly appalling almost overnight when the Conservatives introduced compulsory competative tendering for school meals under the Local Government Act, in 1988 I believe. I was in junior school at the time and vividly recall the trash we were served, especially the grey 'beefburgers. If I ever develop CJD, I shall know to go around and finish Thatcher off before it kills me. |

Sandra, why do you speek in such a sneering way towards Conservative men? Examples are "one of the new Tory men (doesn't matter who but he was clearly young and ambitious)" and "Meg and I had frequently made up a threesome which caused much chuckling from the Tory men to my right. Sometimes I do wish that they would grow up just a little." |

It's not just Conservative men.Mrs Gidley's position is threatened.She has one of the slimmest majorities anywhere,as do some local Councillors. |

I thought you said that it was only 175 in the Romsey Advertiser Peter. Is this more Labour lies and spin. Hopefully, by the time the next election comes along, people would have got sick of Labour and booted them out of office which is what they deserve. Trouble is, if postal voting has anything to go by, the election may once again be rigged and they will try and spin their way back into office. |

Correct the 175 tactical voters were in my sector North Baddesley I could not confirm Romsey or valley park at that time. I also found plenty of evidence on the doorsteps you torys were collecting and fiddling with the postal vote system as well as us labour tactical vote supporters. |
