ok I know that you probably don't care about what I have to say on the issue, but In my own opinion on abortion I believe firmly that. this is my body and what I choose to do with my body is my own business and not man and certainly not a government's business I know that there are alot of other people out there who feel diferently but everyone is intitled to have there own opinion. When I was nineteen yrs old I got pregnant with my son I faced all of the issues then that the young girls of today face. I had lots of different directions to go to and one of them was the possibility of abortion and yes it did cross my mind I was scared and alone no-one to help so I thought at the time. The father ran off to another state and can not be found. So the abortion option was gaining greater possibilities the more I thought about it . But I chose to keep my baby and raise my child the best way that I could alone and yes it is hard. but we get by and are doing just fine. My point is that I had the option if I want the option. I had the right to make up my own mind and choose because it is my body and my right a democrate to have the freedom to be able to choose and I chose to keep my child and If I had it all to do over again I would make the same decision. |

I respect peoples right to decide what happens to them - but why this issue is 'complex' is that it is so hard to demonstrate when a human life can be thought of to have begun, and that life therefore will fall under the protection of the state (giving it a right to a say). |
