Did you read the biography on Mao that was on many labour mp's summer reading list?

It sheds a great insight into the origins of Taiwan and how the communists gained control of mainland China.

Mao was clearly a person to have stayed well away from judging by the millions of deaths he caused.

Funny you should mention 101.I flew over it yesterday en route from Taipei to Kuala Lumpur( where THEY still claim to have the tallest building,the Petronas twin towers) Its supposed to look like a stem of bamboo! Taipei should look pretty clean,it was well washed by a typhoon when I was there last October.
Waiting to hear how the Hospital rally went.I had to have some X-rays done last week and it was great to be able to go to the John White suite at Romsey Hospital.Long may it remain.
