Yeh... I can remember being eleven and being captured by chess. It was a constant from then all through college. Used to _dream_ chess games (probably as an escape from dreaming about calculus--heh). After that, almost not at all.
Still like to work problems every now and then, play with my (adult) children when they're around. Read a few games through--not really _study_--every now and then.
